Item Description
Set of 6 with original box. 4” dia. by 4.75” tall. 1940s. Pfaltzgraff Pottery of York, PA has been in business since 1860s. Each is different. In addition to the Pfaltzgraff mark on bottom, each mug bottom has particular characters name as well as designer "Jessop". Characters are: Handsome Herman, Jerry the Jerk, Pickled Pete, Flirty Gertie, Sleepy Sam and Cockeyed Charlie. Each has overall crazing visible under close inspection but o/w mugs are N. Mint. Mugs come with 10.5x14x5” tall Pfaltzgraff Pottery box. Box is torn/worn/Good. An interesting set.
