Item Description
7.25x10” softbound. 66 pages. 1906. Thoroughly illustrated. Beginning pages show basic spring structure and metal work. Many of the first items are iron and are simply depicted with black on white illustrations. As the catalogue progresses, any iron beds with added brass finials are depicted with gold/yellow accents to the illustrations. As more brass is added to each progressive style of bed, more color is added. Twenty pages are divided to totally brass cribs and beds. This becomes an impressive progression of style offerings. This company (Bernstein Mfg./Philadelphia, PA) also has an offering of brass coat racks which are depicted with the accent color as well. Staples at binding have corroded and stained the left cover margin. Cover shows age, but spine remains intact. Cover Fine. Contents Exc. and impressive.
