Item Description
8-7/8x12” stiff cardboard display sign with easel back and die-cut slots for holding New Haven wrist watches. c. 1951. Pictured characters featured on New Haven watches include Gene Autry ( See #2368), Annie Oakley, Dick Tracy. Dick Tracy is pictured on display with Dick Tracy Jr., however watch featured only Dick Tracy w/moving gun. (See item #2277). Watches were priced at $6.95 plus tax. Display has st. warp and lt. trace of wear but unused easel on back. We have sold full displays (with 6 watches) in the past for $4,000-$5,000. However, this is the first time we’ve offered an empty display and this example is by far the best condition we have ever seen. Exc.
