Item Description
DeWitt’s version of this has the same hanger but a generic flag designed ribbon. This 2x5” ribbon has gold text “Harrison & Morton/For Protection Of Home industries.” Faint bit of age stain on ribbon’s bottom 2” but very subtle. The huge die-cut brass hanger is 1.25x2.5” with reverse bar pin. Metal has about 90% luster and includes shield designs left and right, tiny crossed flags at top and tiny “U.S.” at bottom. Large cardboard photo panel has 3 pinpoint age dots and pair of 1/8” hairlines on the cardboard surface but all exceedingly minor. Among the largest jugate ribbon hangers. Impressive and Rare.
