Item numbers 1 through 1186 in auction 200
Item Description
The slogan “I Like Ike” originated in spring 1951 with market researcher Peter G. Peterson (later Nixon’s Secretary of Commerce). It quickly became the iconic slogan of 1952 and in 1956 “I Still Like Ike.” These are 3.5” except for one 3”. As typical, small surface wear marks on some of reflected light. A couple air dots under cello on row 3, #1 and tiny age traces on extreme edge of row 3, #2. Vast majority are Exc. to N. Mint. A clean group.
