Item Description
Each design variety is 3” by Vari-Vue and reads “Vote American/Fly The American Way.” Visually, there is much depth between the text and the bkg. of blue ovals and red circles. On one, the blue is across the top and bottom with red at center. On the other, red is at top with blue at center. The ovals and circles move left and right in opposite directions as the badge is moved. One has narrow traces of glue line on part of parameter edge as made. Early use of 3-D effect. These items were originally issued to Charles D’Onofrio who began his 40-plus year career as a CBS-TV cameraman in the 1950s. Twice he was awarded an Emmy for his work. First we’ve seen.
