Item Description
First is 20x26”. “McCarthy For President” signed in lower right “Art Wood 1968” in pencil. Veteran cartoonist Wood whose credits include TIME and Newsweek. Wood authored the book “Great Cartoonists And Their Art.” Beginning at the age of 12, he set out to collect original cartoons from his favorite cartoonists. His perseverance allowed him to obtain one of the largest collections of cartoon art in the world. In 2003, the Library of Congress announced the contribution of more than 30,000 original political cartoons, comic strips and animated cels from the award-winning political cartoonist Art Wood. Second is 17x23” cardboard aerial view of McCarthy. Third is 23x24” “Eugene” with bright, day-glo accents to lettering. Lt. handling wear on edges. Overall all 3 remain VF.
