Item Description
1.5” in white metal and this is the largest medal of his campaign. Front has his name and high relief bust with the engraver’s name “Odling” below. Reverse inscription around “No North No South But The Whole Country” enclosing at center “Born In N.Y. Jan. 7, 1800/Entered Congress 1832/Vice President 1849/President 1850/American & Whig Candidate In 1856.” Very tiny reverse rim dent on upper edge barely showing. Beautiful luster and overall N. Mint. Rare.
