Item Description
Hake #2020. This 2.25” button is scarcer than the version with words “Economic Security” at the top. Button pictures FDR along with Boston mayor James Curley. Also see item #40, an oil painting of FDR which was presented to Curley and displayed in the Boston State House. Button has no backpaper and we believe that is how it was issued. The blue rim shows some pinpoint white marks but that is as printed and condition is near flawless. A gorgeous and outstanding example of a very popular button. See next related item.
