Item Description
Lot of two. 7” long butter knife. 5.5” long sifter/slotted spoon. Both have the same 1870s era gourd vine pattern. This was part of a set of "Vine" pattern flatware that Tiffany offered in the late 1800s. It is also known as “Fruits and Flowers.” The "Vine" pattern was a smash at the height of America’s craving for Japanese art when it was introduced. Sifter has gold wash bowl. Combined weight 2.55 Troy ounces. Fine examples of Tiffany quality sterling flatware. Exc.
