Item Description
Nicely designed tin litho cycle is 3x8x5.5" tall c. 1935. Comes w/box featuring nice illustrated scene on front and back panels of police officer speeding along on his cycle. Box has one loose end flap, one end flap missing bottom half, two inside flaps are missing. One other flap is reattached w/brown tape on interior. Additional wear but illustrated panels remain clean for display although box just comes along. Toy depicts police officer in uniform wearing shoulder holster w/gun. Gas tank is marked "P.D." Attached to right center is the siren mechanism. Toy is missing key but works. Travels around in a circle as a loud realistic siren noise is produced. Has tiny scattered paint nick but remains glossy w/strong color. VF.
