Item Description
4.5x9.5x6.75” tall. 1948. Printed paper back panel with Fisher-Price logo and number “745”. License on back reads “L.C. #1.” Side panels have repeat images of Elsie with “Copyright The Borden Co.” appearing below image. Text on front panel reads “Driver/Beau-Regard/745.” The “745” number refers to the Fisher-Price toy number. Beauregard is seen at truck front holding 2 mallets which ring the front metal bell when toy is pulled. Trace of wear to painted wheels, rooftop. Applied paper panels show aging in the form of tiny ripples. White smudge on Beauregard’s eye and one front panel. 3/8x.5” surface paper loss to the second “E” in “Elsie’s” name. Overall moderate wear. VG overall. Comes with two 1.5x2.5” wood milk carriers with metal handles. Each carrier is designed to hold six wood bottles. Ten of twelve 1” tall bottles (2 varieties) remain. Bottles and carriers show moderate wear. VG.
