Lot of two. First is 5.5x8.5”. 36 pages. Softbound with red, white and blue ribbon binding. Cover lightly embossed with Masonic symbol. Elaborate inside cover page is protected by tissue paper as made. Gold luster embossed accents surround celebration logo and vignettes on either side. High quality printing. Text reads “Mecca Day Friday, October First Nineteen Hundred And Nine.” High quality glossy pages with extensive text and images. Inside back cover is attached fold-out color map of the Hudson River (3” tear at fold). This Masonic gathering was held in conjunction with the Fair. Cover and contents Exc. Comes with plain but matching black slipcase w/heavy wear, Good, just comes along. Second is 8x10.5” hardbound “Historical Souvenir Of The Hudson-Fulton Celebration” with gold luster text. Cover is embossed. Scattered spots and wear to cover. Fine. 244 pages. Extensive text/history of whole area up to celebration. Many images. Eight full page color plates of various views along the Hudson. Last half of book is filled with ads from businesses and services of the day. Water mark on last few pages, o/w contents show lt. aging. VF.
