Item Description
26x39.5” overall. 24.5x38” image area. Large illustrations of boxers by DePool. Text reads “Fight-Fight-Fight/Welterweight Championship/At The Bull Ring Panama City/February 5th, 1922/At 3.P.M. Sharp/15 Rounds/Eddie Ryan/Welterweight Champion Of Central And South America Vs. Bob Fox/Fort Clayton Challenger/Semi-Final/Battling Garrido Vs. Soldier DeRosby.” Text continues with other fights, many with connections to apparent US soldiers and sailors with mention of U.S.S. Denver and Ft. Davis. Dry-mounted, thin paper with obvious wear/margin paper loss. Numerous tears/creases visible at arm’s length. Still displays nicely in black painted framed, but overall just good.
