14.5x20.75” stiff artboard has 11.5x19” image area done in acrylic paint. Art is for Whitman #2567. ©1966 Don Gardner Assoc., Inc. Book was written by Alice Sankey with illustrations by John Steele. Art depicts Roy on Trigger reaching for his fallen cowboy hat as Donnie looks on. Artboard has handling wear with corner bumps but comes with acetate sheet that protects art which remains Exc. Paste-on title lettering. Comes with actual copy of 5.5x6-3/8” hardcover storybook. From the Whitman Archives. Art is unique.
