23x35” poster done in psychedelic day-glo colors has image of Alice reaching towards the hookah-smoking Caterpillar who is seated on a large mushroom. The Mad Hatter pours tea underneath at lower left. “One Side Makes You Taller, One Side Makes You Smaller” text wraps around top and side margins with “Alice And The Caterpillar” print title at lower right. Art by Cathy Hill. Sold in head shops in 1967. Quote is from Lewis Carroll’s original Alice text which was later adjusted by the band Jefferson Airplane for their song White Rabbit which was released in 1967. Poster has been rolled and has lt. handling wear including .5” tear along left margin. Fine/VF. Great design.
