Item Description
Complete set of 48 different 2.5x3” cards. c. 1930. Arcadia Works. Issued by Carreras Ltd. Some interesting designs show Alice holding baby pig, the Dodo, the Gryphon, the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter and Dormouse, Caterpillar smoking hookah on mushroom, Queen of Hearts, Alice meeting the Cheshire Cat, the Mock Turtle and many more. Cards have rounded corners as produced and have some scattered aging but Exc. overall. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
