Item Description
Lot of six 22.5x29” (to bottom of tassels) canvas fabric banners bearing movie star names. Names include Janet Gaynor, William Powell, Clara Bow, Charles Farrell, Joan Crawford and Clive Brook. c. 1930. From the Prince Theater in Hartford, CT. Brass grommets at top for hanging. Farrell and Brook are worn and just come along Clara Bow has some punctures to the silk-screened portions of her name but banner still displays Fine. Others have varying degrees of handling wear and aging. Fine/VF overall. Nice quality. Scarce.
