Item Description
4.5x10.75x3" deep box w/printing in blue contains complete three-piece tin litho toy by Unique Art Mfg. Co. Inc., 1930s. Left side of box is worn and missing all end flaps. Right side flaps remain intact. Heavy crease across top panel. VG. The toy has assembled size of 2x16.5x4" tall and comes w/2" long tin race car w/driver. At the base of the toy is the control tower which includes images at windows of workers w/machinery. One side has doorway w/guard. Extending outward from the tower is two-piece ramp w/tunnel at center. Tower has built-in key. Works and spring-loaded mechanism launches the racer out of the tower, up the ramp and when it reaches the end, it rolls backwards toward the tower and action is repeated. Minute scattered paint nicks. Exc.
