Item Description
Lot of three 10.5x12.5” acetate sheets with hand-painted characters for use in 1960s TV commercials. First cel shows Cap’n Crunch being grabbed by his archnemesis the barefoot pirate Jean LaFoote. Second cel shows Cap’n Crunch’s loyal friend Sea Dog from ankles up. Both of these cels are from 1966 commercial. Last cel features images of sailor kids Alfie, Caryle, Dave and Brunhilde. Sheets show lt. wear but animation remains Exc./N. Mint for display. Nice lot.
