4x4x10.5" tall toy comes in box w/nicely illustrated lid. Yonezawa, Japan © 1961 Frankonia. Box has overall scattered aging, moisture stain on top side panel. Lid has long but lt. crease along the right edge, bottom edge has a 4" split. Small traces of staining at staples but box retains strong color, complete w/cardboard inserts. VG. Toy depicts clown in fabric outfit, face is vinyl, hands are hard rubber, ears and base are tin litho. Accessories include metal tray attached at waist by elastic string, bunch of plastic balloons w/wire handles and a metal bell. The balloons and bell are attached to clown's hands. Toy works and clown rocks back and forth as he openes and closes his mouth and arm moves to ring the bell. Face has small scattered color rubs but toy remains exceptionally bright and clean overall.
