Item Description
3x5x9" tall toy comes in box w/illustrated lid. 1950s by Nomura Toys, Japan. Box is Exc. and includes cardboard insert that fits around the toy. The bear is plush covered w/plastic mouth, eyes, glasses and pipe, rubber hand holding brush w/fabric bristles and rubber boot is on the other hand. Also attached to one arm is a bell, has fabric bow around neck as well as fabric tie on apron. Base is tin litho and while the box shows the bear sitting on a wood crate, this "seat" is actually decorated w/images on all sides of city street scene w/car and buildings. Toy works and bear moves his arms as if polishing the boot, head nods side to side and the pipe lights. N. Mint.
