Item Description
Unlisted in Hake. 2.25”. No backpaper likely as issued. Lausche was a five-time governor but this is from his first campaign in 1944. Another variety is known with text in red. There have been a few sales of this piece in the past 2 years ranging between $1,100 and $1,600. This example does have a very narrow .75” long line of light stain on the far upper right edge between 1 and 2 o’clock. There is some equally light stain on the reverse curl edge but the only additional mark showing on the front is a very thin hairline about 1” long on the extreme bottom edge. About 95% of the piece remains clean and glossy.
