Item Description
These range from 1.5” to 1.75” dia. plus one bar-shaped piece 2” tall. Many of the pieces give a brief biography of important events in his life on the reverse. In all, there are about 20 ounces of silver here with specific details top to bottom and left to right as follows: 1) .5 oz. Marked .999 fine silver; 2) Marked “Sterling” and “Official White House Historical Association Medal; 3) Marked “Sterling”; 4) Marked Danbury Mint/Sterling Silver; 5) Marked Longines Symphonette Sterling; 6) Marked same as #5; 7) Marked 1 oz. .999 silver; 8) Marked “Sterling”; 9) Marked .999+ Pure Silver/Medallic Art plus serial number 2159; 10) Marked One Oz. .999 Fine Silver; 11) Marked “3598” on edge but does not say Sterling. However, it does seem to be sterling and is a smaller size version of item #3 in this group; 12) Marked 24 K on Sterling and “M0271” plus a letter “W” in a circle. Obverse depicts FDR with 3 marchers holding a banner “We Do Our Part” with “NRA” blue eagle above. There are a couple of small discoloration marks around FDR’s eye on the right side and reverse has 3 tiny dark spots on a wreath design. Again, group consists of about 20 oz. of silver.
