Item Description
Group consists of 7 buttons. One is 1-1/8” litho. Four are 1.25” cello and two are 1.75” cello. These break down as 4 campaign buttons and 3 for his January 20, 1949 inauguration. The brass pieces are 1” and 1-1/8” plus loop. The smaller is early post-war as it lists his 1945 assumption of the presidency, but not his 1949 inauguration. This token has some general wear and may be an early version from the game “Meet The Presidents.” The second piece resembles the first but on this he wears eyeglasses and the reverse reads “Souvenir Of The Inauguration/Jan. 20, 1949/Washington, D.C.” This piece is N. Mint. The buttons are super clean and grade N. Mint to Mint. A great group of “core” Truman pieces.
