Auction #200 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1186 in auction 200
Item Description
1.25” from a series of 3 buttons carrying the names of Swallow, Roosevelt or Parker. All were issued during the 1904 campaign. Text reads “Vote For Swallow/Use Maple City Soap.” This variety for the Prohibition candidate is in our experience the scarcest of the 3. There is a barely showing 3/16” crack line around the letter “W” of his name plus a few faint tan dots near the center and one or two on the extreme rim edges. Appearance is still VF with full gloss and complete with Baltimore Badge backpaper. Scarce.
