3.5x5.5”. Both are unused. First is illustration of Hirohito with various deadly/death-related icons pictured as “X-Ray Photo Of Hirohito’s Brain.” Icons shown include sword/gun/bomb/handcuffs/skeleton/serpents with swastikas on their backs. Below image reads “Cut Throat/So Sorry-Please.” Small text at bottom reads “Axis Series No. 52.” Light aging. Fine. Second is printed illustration of yellow skin tacked to board with text “Made In Japan/Caught In The Pacific/Tanned In The U.S.A./So Solly!” Hirohito’s likeness with military cap appears at bottom of skin. Tiny text with copyright Babcock & Burroughs-Albuquerque, N.M. Back has printed 4-line verse “Here Hangs The Pelt Of A Jap/Who Mistook A Yank For A Sap/He Never Deserved To Be Preserved So We Just Kept His Hide And His Cap.” Crease at top and bottom left corners. Bright color. Fine. Both cards make use of stereotypical/sarcastic Japanese apology “So Sorry.”
