8.25x9.5” original illustrated envelope contains 7.5x10” die-cut thin cardboard “Terry’s Official Victory Club Spotter” airplane spotter. A Libby’s Tomato Juice premium, ©1946 F.A.S. Spotters were available for 2 labels from Libby’s Tomato Juice plus 10¢. Envelope with illustration of crowd using airplane spotter with “Terry’s Official Wing And Spotter Chart” on back. Lightest trace of wear with 1/8” circular tear from grommet at center of spotter, o/w Exc. Spotter itself cycles through all types of American, British, German and Japanese planes including Curtis P-40, Lockheed P-38, Grumman F-3 and others. Lt. scattered aging but essentially N. Mint. File copy from the archives of premium creator Sam & Gordon Gold, accompanied by a letter to that affect from Gordon Gold. Lot also comes with 6.75x8” ad proof sheet for Canada Dry Gingerale premium comic set of 3 issued with 6 bottle cartons. ©1953 Chicago Tribune. N. Mint.
