Item Description
11.25x14.25” hardcover book printed by Columbia Pictures to promote films for the 1932-1933 year. Book highlights stars and films with vivid art and color. Some stars include Wheeler & Woolsey, Buck Jones, Jack Holt, Frank Capra, Adolphe Menjou. Films include “Bottom of the Sea, The Bitter Tea of General Yen, Destroyer, The Dictator” as well as pages devoted to Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney’s Silly Symphonies. Art utilized for Silly Symphonies page is quite different from the usual Disney style with very stylized characters. Other animated shorts are highlighted with a parade led by Mickey Mouse and includes Krazy Kat and Scrappy among others. Cover shows moderate wear, mostly at corners/edges with color rubs to covers. VG/Fine. Pages are clean, bright and N. Mint. Limited distribution. Additional photos online.
