c. 1930s set contains same 5” tall figural Popeye soap figure as previous 2 lots #2292, #2293. Complete with separate wooden pipe. Lt. wear to paint accents. VF. 4” tall Wimpy soap figure has moderate aging and breaking to black hat accent paint but figure retains its shape with some minor chipping at feet. Fine+. Figures come with 2-3/8” tall barrel-shaped soap with “Kerk Guild” name stamped on one end, “Popeye Soapy Spinach” on the other end. Lt. wear. Fine. c. 1930s. 11" long molded cardboard boat has raised “Soapy Popeye” text on either side of bow and raised “Kerk Guild’s Soapy Popeye” text on back. Shows wear with a few paint flakes at bottom but retains its shape with lt. aging. Fine/VF.
