Item Description
2-5/16” extremely limited button with reverse marked “Badge-a-Minit” as well as the removable ink name “Ralph Nader.” Button shows very young Nader wearing “PIRG” button on the coat lapel of his illustrated image as he stands testifying before a microphone. Nader founded in Washington, D.C. the first of its kind group known as Public Interest Research Group. This group grew out of his consumer protection efforts which began with his 1965 book “Unsafe At Any Speed.” Some long but lt. scratches show on the celluloid only in reflected light. Displays clean and Mint. Only example we’ve seen. See following related lot.
