Item Description
Each piece is about 2-1/8” tall with die-cut tin front while tabbed to the reverse is a circular container with an open coin slot bringing the piece to a thickness of about .5”. These are both in the 1930s section of the White book Collecting Cracker Jack Toys. His number D2850-1 depicts a clown or elf walking, apparently holding a rifle, and with a 4-legged creature most closely resembling a donkey marching behind on its hind legs. About half the silver luster off the reverse compartment but o/w N. Mint with hardly any wear on the front of the piece. Second item is White’s D2850-2. This depicts an elf laying down with finger pointing at a dog seated on its hind legs. Front surface has very minor general wear but hardly even anything that mars the paint. A little brass luster off the reverse. Book value is $125 each.
