Item Description
5x20.5x10” tall. c. 1950s. Cast metal with bright gold luster clock/figures. Both sit on painted wood base. Figures bear strong resemblance to Roy and the gold metal Trigger figure was used on its own as a Roy contest prize (see Ted Hake’s book "Official Price Guide to Pop Culture Memorabilia" page 855). Clock works (wiring is taped but could easily be re-wired). Clock face is in the middle of a large horseshoe. To the bottom left of the horseshoe is a cowboy on horseback. Lower right has steer beside cactus. Roy's hand at top of clock is designed to hold a rotating wire lasso. This is missing although mounting shaft remains so a new one could be made if desired and placed in the shaft. Overall aging to gold finish of clock/cowboy/horse. Fine. Wear to paint of wood base, mostly on edges. Fine. Great design. From the Jerry Howell Jr. Collection.
