Item Description
4.5x16.5x11.5” tall. c. 1950s. Trigger is identical to the one on previous item (see lot #2406) and like that, used as contest prize (see Hake’s book "Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" page 855) but this is hard plastic in the manner of Hartland and Breyer horses. Removable saddle. Plastic base. Clock is painted metal. Clock face is surrounded by large horseshoe. High relief scene below clock shows cowboy on horse with rope stretched to falling longhorn steer. Clock works. Cracked plug, could be easily replaced. Horse and clock are Exc. A few lt. scuffs on marbleized plastic base. Overall displays VF. Nice design. From the Jerry Howell Jr. Collection.
