Item Description
Earliest is 3” tall in dark metal with traces of silver luster. Hanger bar reads “Fire Dep’t” and suspends below larger piece with hose design encompassing early pumper. Metal piece above this reads “1867” while hose reads “Franklin Fire Co. No. 1. Chester, Pa.” This piece is c. 1890 when Chester hosted a state firemen’s convention and 102 companies paraded. Next item with 4 die-cut segments is 1.75” tall in silver luster with brass numeral “1” at center. Rest of text is “Central Fire Co./FD/Rosedale Pa.” c. 1920s. Last is 2.25” tall badge with eagle at top and center displaying fire equipment surrounded by text “Relief No. 2 Pitcairn Pa.” Badge is c. 1930s. Exc.
