Item Description
First is 1.5” from same maker as items #663-664 but the contrast of the photo is not particularly strong. Depicted is “Kansas Bldg. Omaha, 1898.” Rear view of 2 ladies and a man approaching the exhibit while a man faces the viewer and holds a giant black umbrella. Surface has a little scratching including 1/8” mark at center which may go through the celluloid. Button does not have stain, it is simply light in contrast. Comes with choice color 1.25” depicting Iowa State Building and issued for “Iowa Day, Sep. 21-98.” This has W&H backpaper and is extremely fine although narrow sliver of gray tone on extreme bottom edge.
