Item Description
1.75” with W&H backpaper. Superb color and graphic art within red inscription “Lewis & Clark Centennial Exposition Portland, Oregon, 1905.” Images include Miss Liberty embracing the 2 explorers in the “Sighting Of The Pacific, 1805.” To the right is the famous eagle on globe emblem of Racine, Wisconsin farm equipment maker. Surface shows slight wear in reflected light including .5” slightly deeper than normal scratch across the globe but not breaking the celluloid. Under normal viewing none of these marks show whatsoever and piece displays Mint. One of only 4 examples we’ve seen in over four decades.
