Lot of three. c. 1920s. 3.5x5.5” post card size, but with no back stamp. All 3 of these photos are the very ones used in the production of the 1979 book “Velvet Eden/The Richard Merkin Collection Of Erotic Photography.” Cover of book is shown for catalogue purposes only. A copy is not included with this lot. Each are numbered on front lower corners. Two are from the same series and are identified as #312/319. Images show two girls and one teacher. Teacher is unaware of girls with bare behinds and thumbing nose. These two appear on page 1 of “Velvet Eden.” The third one shows a school girl bending over a desk as she reads a book. Her bare bottom is seen from beneath her lifted dress and open underpinnings. This photo appears in the Merkin book on page 65. All have production notations on backs including small tape strips with size notations. Small emulsion loss on two (with 2 girls), one bent corner on third. Fine.
