7.25x9.5" certificate printed on one side w/logo of silhouette of boy and
girl artists facing each other at drawing boards. Issue features facsimile
signatures of Tarzan and Li'l Abner creators among others. Text reads "This
Certifies That Julius Kvietkas Having Fulfilled The Requirements Of Membership
By Submitting A Commendable Original Cartoon Has This Sixth Day Of November 1936
Been Elected A Member Of The Tip Top Cartoonists Club And Is Hereafter Entitled
To All Its Privileges By Authority Of The Committee On Membership," w/names of
23 creators and artists whose Sunday comics were reprinted in "Tip Top Comics"
which began in April 1936. Signatures include Edgar Rice Burroughs, Al Capp, R.
Dirks, Ernie Bushmiller, Moe 'Leff. Bottom left corner has diecut paper seal.
2.75" diagonal crease in upper right corner but clean. Minor aging but is Exc.
