This limited edition includes the Dec., 1946 and Jan., 1947 holiday issues of Esquire Magazine. “This Special Edition Is Presented In Grateful Appreciation To Those Who Have Contributed Most Notably To This Success Of Esquire Over The Past Season.” Great holiday covers and content. Dec., 1946 issue has 4-page full color pin-up spread by Fritz Willis and Joe De Mers. All pin-ups have a winter/Christmas theme. 1947 issue has “The Special 1947 Calendar By J. Frederick Smith” featuring a different full color pin-up for each month/page. Issue also features additional pin-up art by Fritz Willis/Joe De Mers on 2 full color pages. Issues have aging at margins with brittleness at extreme margins of regular pages. VF/Exc. overall. Cover shows wear and aging/dust soiling, most notable along spine. Fine overall.
