6.25x8.25” hardcover 1904 edition printed by Fredrick A. Stokes Co. Great edition of Lewis Carroll’s classic story featuring 12 full color, tipped-in illustration plates by M. L. Kirk with an additional 42 bw illustrations by original Alice artist John Tenniel. 247 pages with 5 pages being blank. No dust jacket as issued. 1906 inked gift inscription on inside cover. Cover wear with edge and cloth missing or chipped from top and bottom spine edge to .25”. 1x2” corner off mostly blank page preceding the color pages. Pages 13-30 have edge tear averaging about .25”. About a dozen or less pages of scattered tan marks or spots. Spine has moderate aging. VG overall. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
