8.75x11.5” hardcover with 12 complete magazines comprising the full 1941 year. (See 1948 & 1950 bound volumes #2583-2584). Hardcover details various premium offerings. Covers have some accent color, inside pages are primarily bw. Issue page count varies from 36-62. Highlights include: ad for M.C. Gaines “Comic Premium Service” showing The Flash on cover of “Your Own Comics”; an article by Gaines, “Comics As Premiums” with image of “Superman” #13 comic book; Sep. issue with article on “Gum Inc.” bubblegum with image of “Uncle Sam” cards and text mention of Superman ring promotion. Various premiums are shown and other articles including Reddy Kilowatt figure, “Tom Mix Comics,” Lanny Ross friendship ring, “Porky Pig Tumballoon,” “Popsicle Comic Books,” “Base Ball Radio,” presidential lunchbox, “V” glasses and pen, Gum Inc. ads, “Dumbo” glass set, Goudy Gum Action ad, Marble King marbles, “Keep ‘Em Flying” inside cover, “Captain Sparks Training Cockpit” article with photos and much, much more either shown and/or just mentioned but scope of contents is vast and extensive. Every issue also has emphasis on household items. Outside covers have lt. dust soiling, blank inside front cover has 2.5x2.75” paper library label. Front cover of Jan. issue has 1x2” “Withdrawn from Collection” ink stamp and .5x3” holed library stamp on title page. Issues have lt. vertical folds in center, likely as originally mailed and more noticeable on stiff paper covers. Covers have lt. to moderate dust soil with lt. handling creases. A few library ink stamps on a few covers. Problems are mentioned for accuracy only and inside pages are primarily Fine/VF. Extremely limited distribution, not sold to the general public.
