Item Description
14x21-11/16” first printing poster for Feb. 1-4, 1968 concerts at The Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland in San Francisco, CA. Concerts featured The Jimi Hendrix Experience, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers and Albert King. Classic poster art by Rick Griffin features bloodshot eyeball with wings and rattlesnake tail emerging from a ring of fire while holding a skull in one of its clawed hands. Poster has corner tip wear with .5” crease in upper left corner and some minor corner bumps. St. handling wear with rippling along right mid-margin. Faint .5” crease in lower left corner. Colors remain bright and bold and if framed, poster would display Exc. One of the best and most sought-after 1960s concert posters. Added bonus is that this is a first printing.
