Item Description
14x22.25” poster for May 30-Jun. 1, 1969 concerts that took place at the Carousel Ballroom featuring The Grateful Dead, Charlie Musselwhite and Petris. Poster art by Alton Kelley uses photographic image of skulls stacked on primitive racks and is one of the classic Grateful Dead images of the psychedelic era. Many examples of this poster have had the dates blacked out, this example has the weekdays that concert took place blacked out in marker, all concert dates remain legible. Moderate corner tip wear, especially to top corners and lower left corner which has moderate creasing. Fine/VF.
