Item Description
2-1/8x2-3/8” card has trimmed edges but title remains printed along the top edge. About 30% thin layer of surface paper off the o/w blank reverse. The badge itself is Exc. and is titled on the bottom panel “Spanish Coaling Station.” Above is devil figure with wings and holding a pitchfork next to a column of flames. Next to this is a rock pile representing coal with an owl at top and with a skull at the bottom center. Devil image includes cloven hooves and tail with a pointy end. We’ve seen only 4 of these in 44 years but this is the only original card we’ve seen.
