20x27.5”. c. 1930s sign quite possibly for Macy’s Toytown. Reads “Headquarters For The Newest Toys And Gifts.” Under a Christmas tree are presents including a jack-in-the-box and duck pull toy along with William Donahey Teenie Weenies characters of Chinese man, clown, cowboy, dunce, general, policeman and old soldier. Sign has been professionally framed using Truguard UV Protection glass, overall size is 23x30.5”. Sign has 2” tear at right left edge, few other small margin tears. Overall sign is Fine but as framed displays Exc. Ready for display. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
