Item Description
3.25x9.5x5” tall tin litho toy with built-in key. Japan. 1960s. Depicts tree stump converted into “Animal House” with sign on front. Visible through die-cut window is an animal and attached to front door is seesaw ridden by bear and monkey. Also attached to house is canopy with rabbit on a swing. Additional illustrations include chipmunk, bluebird, insects, flowers and mushrooms. Toy works. Rabbit swings, seesaw moves and animal at window rotates from dog to cat to monkey. Neat action which runs quite long, in fact original box (not included) noted a running duration of 2-1/2 minutes. Pinpoint paint nicks but glossy and Exc.
