Item Description
5.5” tall depicting elephant holding upright base. Painted tin base. Japan. 1930s. Separate head is mounted to a nodding mechanism which has an attached counterweight. Winder under base is a professionally made replacement, new rubberband so now works perfectly. Tiny 1/8” hairline between feet. Dust soiling. Fine. Toy in this style was made for Betty Boop (see # 1878). Donald Duck and other characters were also produced.
