5.5x8.5”, 168-page book with cardstock cover published Feb. 1953 by J.R. Burdick. Sub-title is “The Standard Guide On All Collected Cards And Their Values.” Extensive in its information, book thoroughly catalogs gum cards, tobacco cards, silks, leathers, advertising cards, premium issues, souvenir cards, playing cards, stereoscope cards, etc. Considered by many to be the “Bible” of card collecting. Even to this day, it is highly regarded and coveted among collectors. Noticeable cover aging and wear with numerous long creases. Additional wear along spine. Contents aged but overall clean. Cover Good/VG while contents about Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
