Item Description
First is 1” with W&H backpaper promoting weekly music and comedy show on CBS that ran between 1950 and 1953. Button has red center text “Business Is Good” and surrounding text “Listen To Budweiser’s Ken Murray T.V. Show.” Murray became famous for his “Blackouts” stage variety show at the El Capitan Theater on Vine Street in Hollywood. He was also the original host of “Queen For A Day” on the Mutual Broadcasting System radio network. Button is essentially Mint. Second item is 1.5” reading “I Like Harkness” with “NBC” logo below. This button refers to their Washington radio and TV journalist Richard Harkness. Button is c. 1956 and has slight yellow tone due to the nature of the celluloid but is N. Mint, displaying Mint. A rare pair.
